Mark your calendars now - Progressives in the Park is back on August 14th! We've all been horrified by the actions of the Trump administration - gutting health care, discriminating against LGBTQ people serving in the military, attacking immigrants, banning Muslim refugees, ripping children from their parents at the border - there are too many atrocities to list. But 2018 is our time to FIGHT BACK! We need everyone energized and working to take back our democracy at every level in the mid-terms.
We have a lot of work to do in Michigan, and at Progressives in the Park you'll have a chance to meet candidates and organizations who are leading the way. Join us at Wilcox Park of Grand Rapids from 4-8pm on August 14th. We're ready to work hard, but we'll have a little fun, too - music, food trucks, a beer tent, and a playground and splash pad for the kids.
